A new step forward for Plone and Redomino: the CMS in Arabic!

One of the things that Plone wants to have is high-quality translations for most of the languages spoken on planet Earth. Plone multilingual support allows you to translate your web site in more than 50 languages and dialects!

Thanks to Redomino "Seeking Talented People", our staff got the opportunity to contribute to this important project: we are very glad to work with Houda Lamkahkah, who completed the translation of Plone in the Arabic language, in collaboration with Ofer Weisglass, an Israeli developer that communicates and work with us through the Web.

They are presently working on an important issue that concerns the Arabic language and all the other right-to-left languages: the user interface has to be configured moving all the elements on the other side of the screen, like a mirror image (this issue is also called RTL).

We would be very happy to keep on contributing to this important project, we so invite everyone who has strong language skills to contact us, in order to help out with the tranlation of one of the missing languges in Plone.
