What is Plone? 

Redomino's Plone 3 Development training is an intensive course for site administrators, programmers and web developers who want to master the Plone CMS for advanced applications.

Plone is a Content Management System, a tool enabling the user to add, edit, update and manage web application contents easily and quickly, even for users who have limited technical skills.

Plone enables automatic and intuitive creation of web content: with little effort  the content of your web site will be well organized and presented clearly in your web site. Additionally, Plone automatically generates navigation elements, makes contents searchable and indexable and keeps track of users, their permissions and security settings.

Plone is a free and Open Source technology, distributed under GPL  licence, which allows the user to use and modify all of its components without cost; moreover, it places great emphasis on usability and accessibility, complying with the US Section 508 and W3c guidelines.
